R53 / PLAYER GUIDES
Casino verification: document the next step.
Keep track of an identity verification request while protecting your private documents.
Understand the request
Verification can involve different requests at different stages. Read the message in your casino account and identify the exact document or information requested, the reason given and the upload channel. Requirements vary by operator, account circumstances and jurisdiction.
Ask support to clarify an ambiguous request before sending additional information. Keep a private record of when you submitted each item and whether it was accepted, rejected or still awaiting review.
Keep documents out of public stories
Use the operator’s official, authenticated channel for identity documents. A public R53 story should not include passport images, bank statements, addresses, account numbers, passwords or verification codes.
If you describe a rejection, the document type and the stated reason are usually enough for other readers. For example: “My proof of address was rejected as too old. I uploaded a newer statement and am waiting for review.” This example does not describe any specific operator.
Separate verification from the payout outcome
A request for documents, completed verification and receipt of a withdrawal are separate events. State which event you are reporting. For the Verification topic on R53, choose the current outcome and write a short timeline. If the same issue later changes, submitting the same account/casino/country/topic combination updates that contribution.
In Great Britain, Gambling Commission guidance says players should be informed before depositing about documents that may be required. It also says a withdrawal should not trigger an information request the operator could reasonably have made earlier. This does not establish the rules for every country or determine an individual dispute.
If the process is stuck
Ask what remains outstanding and how to escalate through the operator’s complaint procedure. Keep its responses. R53 can host your public account of the experience, but cannot approve documents, verify identity for a casino or compel a payment.
